A heating and cooling system with reversible ground water heat pumps

Dec. 05, 2011 – The so-called former area Appiani, the site of Treviso historic furnaces, is set to become the "Citadel of institutions." The project, at an advanced stage of development, includes a series of buildings with a mixed-use: management for public and private use, commercial and residential. Legislative and technical possibilities of exploitation of ground water as a heat reservoir for heat pumps throughout the year has been verified.
