CGC: DX systems now qualify

Nov. 09, 2009 – Direct Expansion (DX) Geoexchange Systems now qualify for the Canadian ecoENERGY Retrofit - Homes Program. They are now included in the revised Canadian Standards Association (CSA) CAN/CSA-C448 Design and Installation of Earth Energy Systems as of October 20, 2009.

DX systems are now eligible under the ecoENERGY Retrofit -Homes program provided that the CSAC448 compliant system is installed on or after October 20, 2009 and is certified by Canadian GeoExchange Coalition (CGC). Regardless of the date of the ecoENERGY Retrofit evaluation, DX systems will be eligible for the geothermal grant if they comply with the above criteria.
