GEOTHERMICA 2009

Jun. 15, 2009 – The 1st International Exhibition on Geothermal Energy and Heat Pumps takes place in Milan, Milan Fair Center - Rho, 25 - 28 November 2009. GEOTHERMICA 2009 is the new exhibition entirely focused on systems, technology, machinery, equipment and services for clean energy produced from under the ground and ground-source heat pumps.

First, second and third generation geothermal energy (EGS - Enhanced Geothermal Systems) represents a promising industry that, together with other renewable sources, can provide the energy needed to satisfy world electricity, heating and air-conditioning demand, without emitting greenhouse gases into the atmosphere.

Ground-source heat pumps, moreover, are a practical and ready-available solution for low-demand users, with significant advantages in terms of energy saving, and eligible for incentives under national and local legislation.
