Swedish GSHP case study published

Oct. 07, 2009 – The "Swedish Ground Source Heat Pump Case Study" was published by the Institute of Geological and Nuclear Sciences in July 2009. This study identifies aspects of Swedish experience in embracing ground source heat pump technology over the last 25 years.

Elements which have contributed to the success are government support, research and development of heat pump systems, an independent heat pump association, certified installers, quality standards, environmental benefits, and a high level of awareness among the general public and decision makers in government and municipalities.
