Training course for GSHP drillers in Dublin

Aug. 26, 2009 – A training course for "drillers for the installation of Geothermal Heat Pumps systems" will take place in Dublin (Ireland) on Monday and Tuesday 28-29 September 2009. This course, which is a part of the GEOTRAINET project supported by the EC – IEE Altener programme, will provide geothermal fundamentals to GSHP drillers in order to be later certified.

Indeed, in anticipation of the implementation of Article 14 of the Directive on the promotion of the use of energy from renewable sources, obliging Member States by December 2012 to develop and mutually recognize accreditation & certification schemes for installers of GSHP installations, Geotrainet provides training courses in different Member States to help GSHP designers and installers to be certified.
